Pilates is mostly known for the method's ability to develop core strength. However Pilates also develops body awareness, flexibility, general strength, concentration, coordination, stability, balance and breathing. In classes at SummerHouse we will go through some of the classic mat routines in a peaceful relaxed way. A time to be in a group but in your own space too, getting to know your body and how it likes to move. Pilates is for all abilities, fitness levels, body shapes, it can be done in a chair or wheelchair. It can be adapted to suit your personal needs.

Hello I'm Runa Cwene I've been part of the Sex positive community for six years now and this will be my sixth time at the Summer House. I have done much soul work over the last six years and a large part of it with the good people of the Summer House either as the facilitators of workshops I've attended, one-to-one sessions or as friends I've made along my journey.
