Annie is a, public health professional, pleasure propagandist and guerrilla girl of HIV prevention. She founded ’The Pleasure Project’, widely recognised as leading global organisation putting the sexy into safer sex in 2004, because she was frustrated that ‘sex education is rarely sexy and erotica is rarely safe’. The Pleasure Project builds a community of creative practice promoting pleasure in sexuality education and 'Share Your Fantasy' salons, these have run in India, at SummerHouse and elsewhere, and encourage people to share fantasies in the pursuit of good safe sex.
Annie is a lover of erotica who has run sex education programmes in the UK, South Africa, India, Thailand amongst other places. She has qualifications in international public health and psychology and has published widely in health journals ( most recently in The Journal of Porn Studies) and erotic magazines, on the importance of blurring the boundaries of pleasure and public health. Annie had regularly wowed the crowds at the International AIDS conferences with a stunningly sexy female condom demo.
The Pleasure Project has created a new category of visual content; explicit sex education that turns people on and porn that educates. She will die a happy woman when pleasure education is seen as an essential element of decent sex education and HIV prevention programmes. And Porn film makers eroticise Condom use.

Kate Lister is intellectually slutty. She spends most of her time peeping up the skirts of history and reporting what she finds to over 171,000 follows on Twitter as @WhoresofYore. Kate has been fascinated by sex ever since she found a stash of porn mags in a hedge, on the way to school and Stewart Riley gave her two sherbet dib-dabs and a glitter pen to be allowed to look at them. Had she not been able to channel this interest into an academic discipline, she may very well have wound up a porn baron. Thankfully, she is now a lecturer at Leeds Trinity University, where she researches the history of sexuality and curates the online research project Whores of Yore. Kate won the Sexual Freedom award for writer of the year 2017.

Hello I'm Runa Cwene I've been part of the Sex positive community for six years now and this will be my sixth time at the Summer House. I have done much soul work over the last six years and a large part of it with the good people of the Summer House either as the facilitators of workshops I've attended, one-to-one sessions or as friends I've made along my journey. I'm a naughty cheeky kinky little minx at heart and love to get my dominant woman out. The flip side of that is I also like to be present in my creative, nurturing, witchy Queen who is impatient for change in the world. Sometimes I just want to scream 'wake up world and love yourselves'. Knowing full well the person I see in the mirror in the morning must do it too.
